A Texas SWAT team got into a bizarre altercation with a criminal after he attempted to evade their battle robot with a bedsheet.

Felix Delarosa, 39, had fired upon police from inside a Days Inn hotel room when he was shot by a sheriff. From there, the officials tried to deescalate the situation by bringing in one of their “cops-on-wheels” to attempt to gas his room.

While trying to escape, Delarosa threw a bedsheet over the robot — only for the machine to pin him to the ground.
